Summer has officially arrived – sandals, iced matcha, and balcony plants included. The past few weeks have flown by, and so much has happened in the mini-greenhouse that I had to write a quick update.
Sunflowers on the Rise 🌻✨
Remember those sunflower seeds I planted back in late May? Well, they’re not so mini anymore. Some are already over 15 cm tall! Every morning when I walk into the office, I check on them – it’s become my daily plant-parent moment.
They’ve now outgrown their little space, so it’s time for a new step: I’m taking them home this weekend to repot them. The mini-greenhouse is going to look a bit emptier without them, but I know they’ll have more room to grow at home. 🌿🪴

Heatwave Hacks 🥵🌿
June has been anything but cool. During that short heatwave, our office nearly turned into a tropical greenhouse. But this time, we were ready: light fabric to block harsh sunlight, misting bottles for cooling, and a new rule – no direct sun between 12:00 and 3:00 PM.
Thanks to the setup in the Greenhouse Kit, everything stayed balanced and healthy. Even the basil kept its cool!

Tiny Tomato Surprise 🍅
I had a few leftover cherry tomato seeds lying around and tossed them into an extra Grow Pot—just to see what would happen. And guess what? They're sprouting! I’m not getting my hopes too high, but I’m quietly rooting for a little harvest. Office-grown tomatoes for lunch? Yes, please.
Final Thought: Growth Is Rarely a Straight Line 🌿
Not everything goes to plan. A few leggy sprouts didn’t make it, some grew crooked, and others never came up at all. But that’s part of the journey. Gardening – even on a windowsill or in a little office greenhouse – is about learning, adapting, and celebrating small wins.
So here’s to the sun, the sprouts, and second chances. 🌞💚
More soon (hopefully with tomatoes!). Until then: water gently, grow steadily.
